Our practice started in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1990, and quickly grew into a full-service law firm with ten attorneys under the name "Bertch & Birch." In 2000, we decided to focus our practice on personal injury and insurance claims under the name "Bertch Robson".
Daniel Bertch graduated cum laude (with honors) from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1984. He is a member of the Order of the Coif, and has been admitted to practice law in Michigan and in Utah. He is also currently licenced in all state and Federal courts in Utah, as well as the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Bertch started his practice defending insurance companies, and in 1990 decided to protect his clients against them. Mr. Bertch has aggressively pursued cases large and small, and has established many important precedents which have shaped Utah tort and insurance law.
Kevin Robson graduated from the University of Utah Law School in 1994. He has been admitted to practice law in Utah, and is currently licensed in all state and federal courts in Utah. Mr. Robson began his practice doing general civil litigation with the law firm “Bertch & Birch”. Mr. Robson joined Daniel Bertch in 2000 to form the law office of Bertch Robson, focusing on representing persons who have been injured in accidents or who have insurance claims.
